3. Prepare students for inter‑school and district level music competitions.
4. Design and administer assessments to track progress and identify improvement areas.
5. Coordinate with teachers of other subjects to embed music concepts into interdisciplinary projects.
6. Maintain and organize the school’s music library and instrument inventory.
7. Mentor junior staff and volunteers in basic music instruction techniques.
8. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute ideas for school cultural events.
Subject‑specific qualifications and expertise
Graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required; TET/CTET is preferred. Demonstrated experience of at least two years in a school setting. Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and vocal training is essential.
