PRT Sanskrit Teacher Job in Osmanabad, Maharashtra | School Recruitment
Podar International School | Dharashiv seeks a dedicated PRT Sanskrit Teacher to inspire young minds with the rich cultural heritage of Sanskrit. This role involves teaching foundational and advanced Sanskrit classes while fostering a deep appreciation for the language’s literary and philosophical significance. The position aligns with the school’s commitment to holistic education, blending academic rigor with cultural enrichment.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Sanskrit lessons tailored to students’ varying skill levels. Incorporate interactive methods like storytelling, poetry recitation, and cultural discussions to make learning dynamic. Prepare daily lesson plans that balance grammar, vocabulary, and classical texts while keeping students motivated. Monitor student progress in Sanskrit fluency and offer individual guidance as needed.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update Sanskrit textbooks and supplementary materials to align with curriculum standards. Collaborate with the Sanskrit department to organize workshops or guest lectures featuring scholars or poets to enrich classroom content. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and curriculum improvements. Ensure compliance with school policies on assessment and grading for Sanskrit subjects.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend teacher training sessions focused on Sanskrit pedagogy to refine teaching techniques. Organize annual Sanskrit festivals or events to celebrate the language’s traditions, inviting parents and students to participate. Review and update lesson plans based on student feedback and academic progress reports.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Sanskrit or related subjects. Possess a graduate degree in Sanskrit, Hindi, or a relevant humanities field. Three years of teaching experience in Sanskrit or a related language is mandatory. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Salary and Location
