Role Summary
Presidency English School in Parbhani, Maharastra is seeking a qualified and experienced PRT Science Teacher to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students at various levels.
What You Will Do
- Teach Science to students in classes 6 to 10
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific concepts
- Encourage students to ask questions and participate in class discussions
- Use multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement curriculum
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Communicate with parents and other stakeholders regarding student progress
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- TET or CTET certification is preferred
- 2 years of experience in teaching Science in a school setting
Good to Have
- Post-graduate degree in Science or a related field
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the school curriculum and assessment procedures
