About This Role
Sankalp International School Pune seeks an experienced PGT Biology Teacher to join our faculty. This is a senior leadership position, and we expect the successful candidate to have a strong academic background and excellent teaching skills.
What You Will Do
As a PGT Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from Class 9 to 12. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing the curriculum for Biology, ensuring it meets the CBSE requirements
- Conducting classes and lectures, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students
- Preparing students for board exams, providing guidance and coaching to help them achieve their best
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
- Maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and programs
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of the school's curriculum
- Engaging with parents and providing them with regular updates on their child's progress
- Participating in school events and activities, such as science fairs and exhibitions

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A post-graduate degree in Biology or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with at least 3 years of teaching experience
- A valid TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and examination requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
