Daily Responsibilities

Supervise lab activities, including specimen handling, microscopy, and greenhouse experiments, to ensure safety and accuracy. Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans, resources, and assessment tools tailored to the latest syllabus and student needs. Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to guide improvement. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, resource allocation, and curriculum enhancements. Maintain a well-organized classroom and lab space, ensuring all materials are accessible and up-to-date for teaching.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with the school’s eco-club or environmental initiatives to organize field trips, workshops, or community outreach programs focused on botany and conservation. Attend professional development workshops or training sessions to refine teaching techniques and stay updated on botanical research. Review and update the school’s botany textbook or supplementary materials as needed to reflect current scientific advancements.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree along with a postgraduate qualification in Botany or a related field. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it is highly preferred for this role. Strong subject knowledge in botany, along with practical experience in lab work and student mentoring, is crucial.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.50,000 to Rs.80,000 per month, along with additional benefits as per the school’s policy.
