What You Will Do
- Teach Computer Science to students from classes 9 to 12, following the State Board of Maharastra curriculum
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Computer Science with other subjects, such as Mathematics and Science
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and provide guidance on how to support their child's learning at home
- Participate in school events and activities that promote Computer Science and its applications in the community
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science and technology to ensure that teaching methods remain relevant and effective
- Use digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning, and to provide students with access to a wide range of educational materials and resources
- Develop and implement assessments and evaluations that measure student learning and progress in Computer Science
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students who require extra help or have special needs
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a post-graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, as well as a B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree. You should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. You should also be familiar with the State Board of Maharastra curriculum and have experience teaching Computer Science to students from classes 9 to 12.
