PGT Political Science Teacher Job in Pune, Maharastra | School Recruitment
Role Summary
Sankalp International School Pune invites applications for the post of PGT Political Science Teacher to join our faculty team in Punecity, Pune, Maharastra. This is a full-time teaching position for a highly motivated and experienced Political Science teacher.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Political Science to classes 11 and 12.
Prepare lesson plans and course materials as per the curriculum.
Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students.
Use multimedia resources to enhance student engagement.
Develop and implement extracurricular activities related to Political Science.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.
Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
Communicate with parents through regular meetings and updates.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Political Science (M.A.)
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. degree from a recognized Indian university.
- Valid TET/CTET certificate (not mandatory)
Good to Have
- Experience in teaching Political Science at a school level.
- Knowledge of state and national curriculum for Political Science.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital resources.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic school environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. Other benefits include medical insurance, retirement planning, and paid leave.
