Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Zoology, aligning with state syllabus and national standards.
- Develop laboratory experiments, field trips, and project work that enhance observational skills.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects, especially in biology and environmental science.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records in the school’s digital system.

Assessment & Planning
- Design formative and summative assessments that reflect core zoological concepts such as taxonomy, anatomy, ecology, and conservation.
- Analyze assessment data to identify learning gaps and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, including objectives, resources, and evaluation criteria, and share them with the department head.
- Encourage student participation in science fairs, inter‑school competitions, and community outreach programs.
Professional Expectations
- Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology, Biology, or related field; B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory, TET/CTET preferred.
