We seek an experienced and passionate educator to join the Computer Science faculty at Jr College Jai Hind in Haveli, Pune. This role involves teaching undergraduate students, shaping their foundational knowledge in computer science principles. The PRT will be responsible for designing and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, ensuring students grasp core concepts like programming fundamentals, data structures, and computational thinking. Experience in guiding students through problem-solving exercises and lab work will be highly valued. Your role will also include assessing student performance through exams, assignments, and continuous evaluation to track progress effectively.
Mentoring is a key part of this position. You will advise students individually and in groups, helping them overcome academic challenges and encouraging their interest in computer science. Building a supportive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel motivated to learn will be essential.
For this role, a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Candidates with a master’s degree, preferably with a minimum of 55% marks, are preferred. NET/SET qualification is mandatory for Assistant Professor roles, though this position focuses on PRT duties. Three years of teaching experience, especially in computer science or related subjects, will be beneficial. A Ph.D. in Computer Science is an added advantage but not mandatory for this position.
The salary package for this full-time position is Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
