Role Summary
Sankalp International School Pune is seeking a skilled and dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join our faculty. As a PRT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students of various age groups.
What You Will Do
- Conduct Social Science classes for students from Class 6 to 12.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities.
- Assess student progress and understanding through regular evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Social Science curriculum.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's policies and procedures.
- Support students in their academic and personal growth.
- Supervise students during extracurricular activities and events.
- Attend professional development workshops and seminars to enhance teaching skills.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- TET/CTET clearance (not compulsory but preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Social Science.
- Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum and teaching methods.
Good to Have
- Experience of teaching in a school setting.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject matter expertise in Social Science.
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to school events.
- Organizational and time management skills.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.12,000 - Rs.20,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, the school offers a range of benefits, including paid leaves, medical insurance, and professional development opportunities.
