Euro School | Thane is looking for a qualified professional to manage its music department in Thane, Maharastra. The role involves overseeing program planning, budgeting, and coordination of extracurricular music activities for students.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the school’s music curriculum and related events.
- Manage schedules, resources, and logistics for concerts, workshops, and student performances.
- Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with parents, external musicians, and cultural organizations to enhance the music program.
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, maintain inventory of instruments, and handle procurement.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed; TET/CTET qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in music program administration or related leadership roles.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic staff and senior management.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and budgeting tools.
Salary
The monthly remuneration for this position ranges from Rs.18,000 to Rs.35,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
