Design and implement practical experiments, such as seed germination studies or plant identification exercises, to enhance classroom learning.
Collaborate with science teachers to integrate botany into interdisciplinary projects, like environmental studies or agriculture-related assignments.
Prepare and maintain well-organized lab materials, including microscopes, herbarium samples, and digital resources for virtual lessons.
Assess student performance through regular tests, projects, and practical evaluations, while providing constructive feedback.
Organize field trips to botanical gardens, forests, or research centers in Thane or nearby regions to bring lessons to life.
Develop and update teaching aids such as slides, posters, and interactive whiteboard presentations for better student engagement.
Attend school meetings, curriculum planning sessions, and professional development workshops to stay updated on educational trends.
Ensure compliance with school policies on safety, equipment handling, and ethical teaching practices in botany labs.
Support students with special needs by adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning requirements.
