PGT History Teacher Job in Thane, Maharastra | School Recruitment
Role and Duties
PGT History Teacher will design and deliver history lessons for classes IX and X. Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and project work aligned with state curriculum. Facilitate classroom discussions and use visual aids to enhance student engagement. Maintain attendance records and report student progress to senior staff.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily history classes with clear objectives and interactive activities. Mentor students in research projects and historical debates. Coordinate with co‑ordinators for inter‑school competitions and cultural events. Update syllabus materials and keep teaching resources current.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in History or related field required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum 2 years teaching experience at secondary level. Demonstrated ability to use modern teaching aids and technology.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary range: Rs.42,000 – Rs.60,000 per month. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid leave, and professional development opportunities.
