About This Role
As a TGT Physical Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the physical education curriculum and inspiring students to develop a lifelong love for sports and physical activity.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement engaging Physical Education lesson plans for students in grades 6 to 10
- Conduct sports coaching sessions and training programs for students and staff
- Organize school sports events, tournaments, and festivals
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum
- Conduct assessment and evaluation of student performance in Physical Education
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in school committee meetings and contribute to policy-making
- Foster a positive and inclusive school culture through sports and physical activity
- Engage with parents and community stakeholders to promote Physical Education initiatives
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must possess a post-graduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. is preferred, but not mandatory.
