Job Summary
A dynamic PGT Business Studies Teacher at Abs Oxford International School | Niali shapes young minds to think critically about commerce, entrepreneurship and economics. By fostering analytical skills and real‑world application, the teacher elevates the department’s academic standards and prepares students for higher education and competitive exams.
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for classes XI and XII, integrating case studies, market simulations and current affairs. Assess student performance through quizzes, projects and examinations, providing constructive feedback that guides improvement. Mentor students in business clubs, competitions and career counseling, encouraging entrepreneurial initiatives. Collaborate with fellow faculty to align curriculum with state guidelines and school objectives, and participate in periodic parent‑teacher meetings. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and lesson plans in the school’s management system.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Business Studies, Commerce or related field along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English and Odia are required.
Salary & Location
The position is full‑time with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is based in Niali, Cuttack, Odisha, offering a supportive school environment and opportunities for professional growth.
