- Monitor and analyze board results to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, incorporating hands-on activities, demonstrations, and storytelling.
- Foster a culture of critical thinking, experimentation, and scientific inquiry among students.
- Collaborate with the administration to integrate Science with other subjects and promote interdisciplinary learning.
- Represent the school at regional and state-level Science conferences and events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local science institutions, museums, and industry partners to enhance student learning opportunities.
- Oversee the Science laboratory, ensuring it is well-maintained, equipped, and compliant with safety standards.
- Contribute to the development of new Science programs, including vocational training and career guidance.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree in Science or a related field.
- A B.Ed degree or equivalent teaching qualification.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Science.
- NET or SET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of the Odisha state board curriculum and assessment requirements.
