What You Will Do
Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with CBSE standards for Classes VI to X.
Conduct interactive classes using teaching aids like charts, models, and digital tools.
Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback sessions.
Organize math-related activities such as quizzes, Olympiads, and project-based learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular projects and events.
Maintain accurate attendance and assessment records as required by the school.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance.
Contribute to school initiatives like science fairs or math clubs during extracurricular hours.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or related field.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in secondary school mathematics.
Valid teaching eligibility (TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Skills
Strong communication skills to explain concepts clearly in English and Odia.
Patience and creativity to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles.
Ability to maintain discipline while keeping the classroom environment positive.
Willingness to mentor students and participate in school events.
