Delhi Public School Dhenkanal seeks an experienced Physical Education Teacher to lead our sports and fitness programs. This role focuses on designing and implementing engaging sports activities, ensuring student participation and skill development. You will oversee extracurricular sports events, including inter-house competitions and tournaments, fostering a competitive yet inclusive environment.
Develop and maintain school sports infrastructure, ensuring facilities are well-used and regularly updated. Collaborate with parents and local sports bodies to organize community sports initiatives, promoting health and wellness beyond the classroom. Your leadership will shape student athleticism while aligning with the school’s holistic growth philosophy.
Monitor student performance in physical activities, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Work closely with the principal and staff to integrate sports into the curriculum, ensuring it meets educational and developmental standards. This position requires a proactive approach to sports administration, balancing structure with creativity.
Ensure compliance with school policies on sports safety, including equipment checks and emergency preparedness. Act as a liaison between students and external sports organizations, facilitating partnerships that enhance our school’s sporting reputation. Your role will directly impact the physical well-being and confidence of students in Dhenkanal.
Qualified candidates with a postgraduate degree in Physical Education and at least three years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Salary for this full-time position is Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month.
