St. Xavier High School in Keonjhar Sadar, Kendujhar, Odisha has an immediate opening for a PGT Social Science Teacher to join our esteemed institution. We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced teacher to teach Social Science to senior secondary students. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the subject and excellent teaching skills.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Social Science to senior secondary students
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans as per the school curriculum
- Conduct board exam preparation classes
- Evaluate student performance and provide guidance for improvement
- Participate in academic planning and coordination
- Mentor junior teachers and contribute to department-level responsibilities
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and interact with parents
Who Can Apply
Applicants should have a postgraduate degree in Social Science with a B.Ed or M.Ed. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and should be well-versed in the latest Social Science curriculum. CTET or TET certification is not required for this position.
What You Get
