TGT Chemistry Teacher – St. Xavier High School, Fakirpur, Keonjhar Sadar, Odisha
Teaching
Deliver the Class‑10 and Class‑12 Chemistry curriculum as per the state board guidelines, using interactive methods to foster conceptual understanding. Conduct laboratory sessions safely, demonstrating experiments and guiding students in practical work.
Planning & Assessment
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessment tools aligned with syllabus objectives. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, assignments and board examinations, providing constructive feedback.
Student Support
Identify students needing additional help, offer remedial classes and mentor them to improve academic outcomes. Encourage curiosity through science projects and extracurricular activities related to chemistry.
Coordination & Administration
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and laboratory inventory. Collaborate with senior faculty and school management on curriculum updates and school events.
Qualifications
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a postgraduate degree in Chemistry. Preference for candidates who have cleared TET/CTET.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a school setting.
Salary
Rs.17,000 – Rs.38,000 per month
