About This Role
As a TGT Hindi Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Hindi to students from Class 6 to 10, promoting language proficiency, cultural awareness, and creative expression. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the school's Hindi curriculum, assess student progress, and participate in departmental meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons on Hindi language and literature.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement curriculum materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless integration of subjects.
- Participate in school events, conferences, and workshops.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Stay updated with relevant teaching methods, technologies, and curriculum developments.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Hindi (M.A. or M.Sc.) or an equivalent qualification.
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. certification is desirable.
- NET or SET qualification is an added advantage.
- 3 years of teaching experience in Hindi, preferably in a school setting.
- Familiarity with Odisha state syllabus and TET/CTET certification is not required.
