TGT Social Science Teacher Position at Saint Arnold High School

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and conduct daily classes, ensuring alignment with the Odisha Board curriculum while adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs.
Design and implement interactive lessons, field trips, and projects to enhance students’ understanding of social science concepts.
Assess student performance through continuous evaluation—quizzes, assignments, and periodic tests—using standardized grading criteria.
Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to refine lesson plans and address student challenges effectively.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and disciplinary actions as required by school policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, staff discussions, and professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching trends.
Support extracurricular activities like debates, model rallies, and cultural events related to social awareness.
The successful candidate must hold a postgraduate degree in Social Science with at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar subject. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, though TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but preferred. The monthly salary for this position is Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 45,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
