Job Overview

- Design and develop curriculum for Home Science courses in line with the National Education Policy 2020.

- Coordinate with other departments to integrate Home Science with interdisciplinary courses.
- Oversee the conduct of examinations and evaluation of students' performance.
- Foster a culture of research and innovation in the department, encouraging faculty members to pursue research projects and publish papers in UGC-CARE journals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to facilitate internship and job opportunities for students.
- Participate in departmental and institutional meetings to discuss academic matters and contribute to policy formulation.
- Develop and implement academic programs that promote social responsibility and community engagement.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Home Science and incorporate new pedagogies and technologies into teaching practices.
Research & Publications
As a senior faculty member, the successful candidate is expected to guide Ph.D. students and publish research papers in UGC-CARE journals. The candidate should have a strong research background and a proven track record of publications in national and international journals.

The successful candidate will be considered for the position of Head of Department (HOD) and will be eligible for administrative roles such as Dean.
