Lead research initiatives and encourage students to participate in national-level competitions. Guide faculty members in publishing research papers in UGC-CARE listed journals.
Maintain academic records, attendance, and student performance dashboards. Prepare departmental reports for the college management.
Collaborate with the college placement cell to align Mathematics curriculum with industry expectations. Support students in preparing for competitive exams like IIT-JEE, NDA, and Odisha Civil Services.
Organize inter-collegiate Mathematics fairs and quiz competitions in Muruda and nearby areas. Represent Prince College in regional academic forums and conferences.
Develop e-learning resources and digital content for Mathematics courses. Train faculty on using LMS platforms effectively.
Attend parent-teacher meetings and counsel students on academic and career choices.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Mathematics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. NET/SET qualification is mandatory; Ph.D. in Mathematics is strongly preferred.
Minimum 8 years of postgraduate teaching experience in Mathematics at the college or senior secondary level. Prior experience as Associate Professor or Professor in a UGC-recognized institution is essential.
Proficiency in curriculum development, exam coordination, and faculty mentoring is required. Familiarity with UGC 7th Pay Commission norms for college teachers is desirable.
