TGT Mathematics Teacher – Delhi Public School, Raurkela (its) p.s., Sundargarh, Odisha
The school is looking for a full‑time TGT Mathematics Teacher to join Delhi Public School in Raurkela (its) p.s., Sundargarh. The role involves delivering the Mathematics curriculum to secondary classes and contributing to the academic environment of the school.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback to help learners improve.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and class activities as per school policies.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum review sessions and school events when required.
- Support co‑teachers and assist in remedial classes for students needing extra help.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities related to Mathematics, such as maths clubs or competitions.
Qualifications
- Post‑graduate degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
- TET/CTET certification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably at the secondary level.
Compensation
- Salary range: Rs.24,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, payable as per the school’s standard payroll practices.
