Key Responsibilities
- Design daily practice schedules, warm‑up routines and skill‑progression plans tailored to different age groups.
- Supervise on‑site skating sessions, monitor student performance and provide corrective feedback to improve technique.
- Maintain and inspect skating equipment, arrange for repairs or replacements, and ensure that the skating rink meets safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with school administration to align skating programmes with the academic calendar, including organizing inter‑school competitions and exhibitions.
- Keep detailed attendance and progress records, preparing monthly reports for the principal and sports department.
- Conduct first‑aid and emergency response when required, and enforce all safety protocols during sessions.
- Mentor junior staff or volunteers assisting with skating activities, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum three years of hands‑on experience coaching skating in a school or sports academy setting.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; a background in sports science, physical education or related field is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children and adolescents, with strong communication and motivational skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards for skating facilities and basic first‑aid certification.
Salary & Benefits
- Fixed monthly remuneration of Rs.30,000 – Rs.40,000, payable as per school policy.
