PGT Economics Teacher Responsibilities at BGS Public School, Barnala
Teach Economics to high school students in accordance with the latest curriculum guidelines, ensuring clarity and engagement in classroom discussions. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate real-world economic scenarios to enhance student understanding.
Prepare and evaluate practical assignments, case studies, and projects related to macro and microeconomic principles. Use interactive teaching methods to foster critical thinking and analytical skills among students.
Assist in organizing and conducting economic workshops or seminars for students, if required by the school. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation in Economics-related activities.
Qualification and Eligibility
Hold a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related field. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the school’s requirements.
Experience in teaching Economics at the secondary level is mandatory, with at least four years of relevant classroom teaching. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it is highly beneficial for career growth.
