PGT Mathematics Teacher Position at BGS Public School, Barnala
BGS Public School in Barnala seeks a dedicated PGT Mathematics Teacher to inspire and guide high school students with a strong foundation in mathematics. This role focuses on delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons while fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The teacher will play a key role in shaping students’ academic growth through structured teaching, interactive methods, and mentorship.
The successful candidate will design and implement lesson plans covering core mathematics topics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus, tailored to the school’s syllabus. Daily classroom instruction will include demonstrations, group discussions, and practical applications to enhance student engagement. The teacher will also assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics along with a Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field is mandatory. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for teaching at this level. Four years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in high school mathematics, will be highly valued.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mathematics education and a proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. Experience in using digital tools for teaching and adapting lessons for diverse learning abilities would be an added advantage. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month, along with a supportive work environment in Barnala, Punjab.
