Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct comprehensive physical education lessons for classes 6 to 12, ensuring alignment with the state curriculum and school objectives.
- Design and supervise extracurricular sports activities, inter‑school competitions, and fitness workshops for students and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and participation in sports events.
- Collaborate with teachers of other subjects to integrate physical activities into broader learning experiences.
- Provide mentorship to students, encouraging healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Participate in school assemblies, health and safety drills, and community outreach events related to sports and fitness.
- Keep up‑to‑date with modern coaching techniques, safety protocols, and sports equipment maintenance.
Qualification
- Post‑graduate degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions.
- TET/CTET certification preferred, but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Physical Education at the school level.
- Proven track record of organizing and coaching student sports teams.
Salary and employment type
- Salary range: Rs.35,000 – Rs.50,000 per month.
- Full‑time employment with standard benefits as per school policy.
