Role Summary
Wisdom Convent School Punjab invites applications for the Dance Teacher Position in Fazilka, Punjab. The role focuses on nurturing students’ artistic expression through structured dance programs. Day-to-Day Duties
Plan weekly dance sessions aligned with school activities and local cultural programs.
Organize annual and semester-end dance shows, ensuring smooth logistics and student participation.
Coordinate with school leadership to integrate dance into school events and festivals.
Train students in classical, folk, and contemporary dance forms for inter-school competitions.
Maintain discipline and safety during rehearsals and performances.
Document student progress and provide feedback to parents during PTMs.
Collaborate with art and music faculty for interdisciplinary cultural activities.
Oversee costume and prop management for all dance-related events.
Required Qualifications
Must Have: Graduate in any discipline with minimum 4 years of experience in dance instruction or performance.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for better understanding of student development and school systems.
Good to Have: Prior experience in school dance programs or youth dance workshops.
TET/CTET not required for this position.
