The Spring Dales School
Job Description
The Spring Dales School in Jalalabad, Fazilka, seeks a dedicated PRT (Primary Teacher) for Art and Craft to inspire creativity and hands-on learning among students. This role focuses on designing engaging, age-appropriate projects that blend traditional and modern techniques while aligning with curriculum standards. The teacher will develop thematic units that explore cultural heritage, sustainability, and fine arts principles through practical demonstrations and student-led explorations.
The Art and Craft teacher must oversee classroom activities that include material exploration—paper, clay, textiles, and digital tools—while ensuring safety protocols are consistently followed. Collaboration with the art department head is essential for curriculum planning and resource sharing.
Assessment will be project-based, with students evaluated through portfolios, presentations, and peer reviews. Field trips to local workshops or art studios may be arranged to enhance practical learning.
A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding TET/CTET certification. Experience in teaching Art and Craft to children aged 6–14 is required, ideally with at least one year of relevant classroom experience.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.13,000–Rs.21,000 per month, along with a supportive environment that values innovation in creative education. The role is based in Jalalabad, Fazilka, Punjab, and the school encourages a balanced approach to professional growth and student development.
