Role introduction

Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day lab operations and maintenance.
- Develop and implement safety protocols in line with local regulations.
- Coordinate equipment procurement, inventory, and calibration.
- Train and supervise lab support staff on proper handling of materials.
- Plan and schedule lab usage for school activities and external events.
- Maintain accurate records of consumables, waste disposal, and incident reports.
- Liaise with school administration to align lab resources with academic goals.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualification
Must Have: B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least 2 years of experience in lab management.
Good to Have: TET/CTET certification, knowledge of laboratory safety standards, and experience in a school setting.
Skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and basic accounting.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in Punjab.
Salary and location
Full‑time position at Dass & Brown World School, Firozpur, Punjab. Salary range: Rs.25,000 – Rs.50,000 per month.
