What You Will Do
Our ideal candidate will have a B.Ed degree and at least 5 years of experience in teaching Chemistry. They should also be qualified to teach Chemistry through NET or SET. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing our Chemistry curriculum, ensuring it aligns with IIT standards
* Mentoring junior staff and providing guidance on best practices in Chemistry teaching
* Analyzing and improving board results in Chemistry, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance student performance
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure a holistic education for our students
* Conducting workshops and training programs for teachers and students on Chemistry-related topics
* Developing and maintaining relationships with local educational institutions and industry partners
* Managing departmental budgets and resources effectively
* Leading and participating in school-wide initiatives and committees
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A B.Ed degree from a recognized university
* At least 5 years of experience in teaching Chemistry
* NET or SET qualification in Chemistry (preferable)
* Strong knowledge of IIT Chemistry curriculum and pedagogy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
