Dass & Brown World School in Firozpur is seeking an experienced PGT History Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality History education while fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness among students. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds with engaging lessons on Punjab’s rich heritage, colonial history, and global events, aligning with modern curriculum standards.
The PGT History Teacher will design and deliver engaging classroom lessons, using interactive methods to keep students engaged. This includes preparing lesson plans, conducting field trips, and organizing cultural events that reflect historical significance. The teacher must also assess student performance through regular evaluations and maintain detailed records as per school policies.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this position. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in History or a related field will be preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be considered favorably. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, is essential for this role.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with a supportive work environment in Firozpur, Punjab. The role emphasizes creativity, dedication, and a passion for shaping young historians.
