As a PGT Painting Teacher at Dass & Brown World School, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering engaging painting lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Utilizing digital tools, such as SMART boards and Google Classroom, to facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences
- Creating and sharing multimedia content, such as videos and presentations, to support student learning
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback in a timely manner
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in school events and activities, such as art exhibitions and competitions
- Providing individualized support to students with special needs
- Staying up-to-date with developments in the field of painting and art education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Painting or Fine Arts (M.A. or M.V.A.)
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with a specialization in Painting or Fine Arts
- A valid PGT Painting Teacher certification or equivalent qualification
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching painting at a school or college level
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in digital tools, such as SMART boards, Google Classroom, and LMS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms
