Reporting and scope
Reports directly to the Head of Department for English.
Core duties
Curriculum delivery
Design and implement lesson plans aligned with state guidelines and the school’s academic framework. Use varied instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
Student assessment
Prepare and administer quizzes, tests, and projects. Provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed records of student progress.
Classroom management
Create a disciplined and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and respectful discourse.
Professional development
Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in English education. Share insights with peers to enhance overall teaching quality.
Community engagement
Collaborate with parents and guardians during parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and address concerns. Participate in school events and cultural activities to strengthen community ties.
Qualification and experience
Post-graduate degree in any discipline. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Strong command of English language and literature. Ability to integrate technology into lessons.
Compensation and location
Salary range Rs.22,000 - Rs.40,000 per month. Full-time position based in Batala, Gurdaspur, Punjab at The Stalwart International School | Batala.
