Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the music department, including budgeting, procurement, and maintenance of equipment.
- Liaise with school leadership to align music activities with the institution’s overall academic calendar and extracurricular agenda.
- Organise concerts, cultural festivals and community outreach programmes, handling logistics, permissions and publicity.
- Maintain records of student participation, attendance and performance assessments, preparing reports for senior management.
- Ensure safety standards for all music spaces and instruments, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in school administration or program coordination.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; B.Ed or D.El.Ed is preferred along with TET/CTET certification.
- Strong organisational skills, proficiency in basic accounting and inventory software, and ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a salary range of Rs.15,000 - Rs.28,000 per month, along with standard school benefits and professional development opportunities.
