Responsibilities
Design and deliver the CBSE/ICSE English curriculum for classes IX‑XII, preparing lesson plans that engage students in reading, writing and critical thinking. Organise co‑curricular activities such as debates, dramatics and literary clubs to foster a love for language. Mentor junior teachers and collaborate with the department head on curriculum updates.
Requirements
Minimum four years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a recognized school. Must hold a post‑graduate degree in English along with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom, use digital teaching aids and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate in English, B.Ed/D.El.Ed required. Candidates with TET or CTET will be given preference. Strong command of both spoken and written English is essential.
