Shining Stars Sr. Sec. School | Jalandhar is seeking an enthusiastic PGT Physical Education Teacher to lead its sports and fitness programs. This is a full-time role in Jalandhar 1, where you’ll inspire students with dynamic lessons and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle.
The PGT Physical Education Teacher at Shining Stars Sr. Sec. School will design and deliver engaging physical education classes, including sports training, fitness routines, and outdoor activities. You’ll supervise school sports events, organize inter-house competitions, and ensure students adhere to safety protocols during physical activities. The role also involves mentoring junior teachers, updating curriculum standards, and collaborating with the principal to align PE programs with school policies. Regular assessments will be conducted to track student progress in sports skills, teamwork, and discipline. Participation in local sports festivals and community outreach programs may also be part of your responsibilities.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in Physical Education. A strong background in sports science, coaching, or related fields is highly valued. While TET/CTET is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Your passion for sports and ability to engage students in a fun, inclusive environment will be key to success in this role.
