Job Description
Teach advanced Zoology courses to high school students in Cambridge International School’s senior section, ensuring alignment with CBSE and international curriculum standards. Develop engaging lesson plans that integrate modern research, field studies, and practical demonstrations to enhance student understanding of animal biology, ecology, and classification.
Prepare and deliver lectures, experiments, and hands-on activities covering topics like evolution, genetics, and conservation biology. Use visual aids, lab equipment, and digital resources to make complex concepts accessible and interactive for diverse learners.
Assess student performance through regular exams, projects, and practical evaluations, maintaining detailed records of progress and feedback. Collaborate with the science faculty to refine teaching methods and integrate interdisciplinary learning where possible.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology or a related field from a recognized university. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) to qualify for the PGT role in Punjab.
Experience teaching Zoology at the senior secondary level for at least three years is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this position, it will be an added advantage.
