Day-to-Day Duties
As a senior PRT Music Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing the music curriculum for classes 1 to 5 at Dips School.
- Mentoring and guiding junior staff members to enhance their music teaching skills.
- Conducting regular music classes, workshops, and demonstrations for students.
- Planning and organizing music events, concerts, and festivals for the school.
- Ensuring that students meet the desired standards in music, as per the school's expectations.
- Collaborating with other subject teachers to integrate music with other subjects.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement in music.
- Communicating with parents and guardians regarding their child's music progress.
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the overall development of the school.
Eligibility
To be considered for this position, you must have a post-graduate degree in Music or a related field, with a B.Ed qualification. A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of academic excellence. NET or SET certification is preferred but not mandatory. TET or CTET certification is not required for this position.
