PRT Social Science Teacher Job in Jalandhar, Punjab
Role Summary
Dips School is seeking a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join our team in Jalandhar 1, Jalandhar, Punjab. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students in grades 1-5. We require a post-graduate degree holder with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons to students in grades 1-5.
2. Develop and implement activity-based learning methods to promote student participation.
3. Create and distribute worksheets, demonstrations, and storytelling materials to support student learning.
4. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
5. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and projects.
7. Conduct classroom activities and demonstrations to illustrate Social Science concepts.
8. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
9. Participate in school events and activities to promote Social Science learning and cultural awareness.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- NET or SET certification
- M.A. or M.Sc. degree in Social Science
