Day-to-Day Duties
1. Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students with emotional and psychological issues.
2. Conduct workshops and awareness programs for students, parents, and staff on mental health, stress management, and social skills.
3. Develop and implement a school-based counselling program that addresses the needs of students, parents, and staff.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and counselling sessions.
5. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to provide a comprehensive support system for students.
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures for crisis intervention and management.
7. Conduct regular meetings with the school administration to discuss student well-being and counselling needs.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field from a recognized university. A B.Ed. or M.Ed. degree is preferred but not essential. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Certification in Counselling Psychology and experience in working with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
