About This Role
Dips School invites experienced Sanskrit educators for the TGT Sanskrit Teacher Vacancy in Jalandhar. How You Will Teach
Sanskrit teaching at Dips School combines traditional methods with modern tools. Use chanting, storytelling, and grammatical exercises to build foundational skills. Introduce digital resources like online sandhi-sandhi split tools and Vedic math connections to enhance engagement. Organize cultural activities such as shloka recitation competitions and simple drama performances in Sanskrit to reinforce learning.
What You Will Do
Plan structured lessons covering Vyakaran, Sahitya, and Sanskrit-based general knowledge for middle and secondary students.
Conduct regular assessments with objective-type questions and short descriptive tests to track progress.
Prepare students for Sanskrit recitation and written exams with focused practice sessions.
Collaborate with Hindi and English teachers to integrate language patterns and vocabulary connections.
Organize inter-house Sanskrit debates and quiz events to encourage public speaking in the language.
Maintain student portfolios with sample writings, recitation recordings, and monthly performance reports.
Assist in preparing school assemblies where Sanskrit shlokas are recited daily.
Coordinate with the school librarian to update Sanskrit book collections and reference materials.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Sanskrit with minimum 55% marks from a recognized Indian university.
B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification with Sanskrit as a main subject.
Preference for candidates with NET/SET in Sanskrit or equivalent academic distinction.
Preferred Skills
Strong command of Sanskrit grammar, prosody, and classical texts like Panini and Kalidasa.
Experience using smart classrooms and language-learning apps for Sanskrit drills.
Ability to mentor students for inter-school Sanskrit competitions and Olympiads.
Familiarity with Punjab’s regional Sanskrit teaching practices and local student needs.
What You Get
Monthly salary between Rs.30,000 and Rs.40,000 based on qualifications and experience.
