Role
A full‑time PRT English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to primary and secondary students at G.d Goenka International School in Kapurthala, Punjab. The role demands a dynamic educator who can adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles within the school’s PRT framework.
Responsibilities
Design and implement curriculum‑aligned lesson plans that promote critical thinking and effective communication in English.
Assess student progress through regular formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support school initiatives that enhance language proficiency.
Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect for all students.
Requirements
Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in a school setting.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification mandatory; TET/CTET preferred but not essential.
Strong command of English grammar, literature, and modern teaching techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of varied backgrounds.
Compensation
Rs.18,000 – Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
