About This Role
Krj Dav School integrates smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school LMS to make English lessons interactive and measurable. Your role is to teach Grade 1–5 English using these tools daily. Classroom management includes maintaining digital attendance and updating parents via the LMS portal.
Teaching Approach
Lessons are designed around blended learning: short videos on smart boards, follow-up worksheets in Google Classroom, and weekly quizzes on the LMS. Grammar and vocabulary are reinforced through storytelling sessions recorded for absent students. Speaking practice happens in small digital breakout rooms during regular periods.
What You Will Do
Prepare weekly English plans aligned to the NCERT syllabus and upload them to the LMS before Monday assembly. Conduct smart board–based grammar drills followed by individual practice sheets shared in Google Classroom. Record short pronunciation drills on mobile and upload to the LMS so students can review at home.
Grade 1–2 teachers use phonic songs on smart boards while Grade 3–5 teachers run debate clubs in Google Meet after school. Maintain a digital portfolio of student writing samples updated every fortnight. Mark assignments directly in Google Classroom and send auto-generated feedback to parents.
Organize bi-monthly online parent-teacher meets via Google Meet to discuss reading progress. Coordinate with the IT coordinator to ensure all smart boards and tablets are functional before each class. Attend monthly tech refresh sessions conducted by the school to learn new features of the LMS.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in English or related discipline with minimum 50% marks. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in primary English is required. Prior work in a tech-enabled school is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education, specifically Classroom, Forms, and Meet. Ability to create simple videos for lessons using mobile or basic editing tools. Comfortable troubleshooting minor tech issues during class without disrupting flow.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.20,000 – Rs.40,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. Health insurance coverage for self and dependents. School transport reimbursement within Kapurthala city limits.
