Role
PRT Social Science Teacher at Dips School, Kapurthala, Punjab. The position is full‑time and involves teaching Social Science to primary classes in a vibrant school environment.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum and state guidelines.
Assess student progress regularly, maintain accurate records, and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents.
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and continuous professional development activities.
Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity about history, geography, civics and related topics.
Requirements
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level.
TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Good command of English and Punjabi, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use basic ICT tools for lesson preparation and student assessment.
Compensation
Salary ranges from Rs.16,000 to Rs.28,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
