Doon Oxford School | Ludhiana is seeking a dedicated PRT Social Science Teacher to join its vibrant academic community in Ludhiana West. This role offers a chance to inspire young minds with engaging lessons in geography, history, and political science, aligning with modern curriculum standards.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons that foster critical thinking and analytical skills among students. Develop interactive teaching methods using local case studies and historical events relevant to Punjab’s heritage. Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure alignment with CBSE syllabus and Doon Oxford School’s pedagogical approach. Maintain student records, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to help students excel. Participate in school events, including cultural fests and debates, to strengthen social awareness among students.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized university. Possess a graduate degree in Social Science or related field. Secure TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this position.
Experience
Proven experience of at least three years in teaching Social Science at the primary or upper primary level. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and student engagement strategies is essential. Experience working in a multicultural environment is a plus.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position at Doon Oxford School | Ludhiana, offering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
