Dmc Young Entrepreneurs School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sports Coach to oversee the sporting activities of our students. As a Sports Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing sports programs that promote physical education, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement sports programs for students of all ages, including physical education classes, sports coaching, and tournaments.
2. Supervise and mentor school sports teams, ensuring that they participate in local, state, and national competitions.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures for sports-related activities, including safety protocols, transportation, and equipment management.
4. Collaborate with other school staff to integrate sports education with academic programs, promoting holistic development of students.
5. Recruit, train, and manage sports volunteers and coaches to support school sports programs.
6. Organize sports events, tournaments, and competitions, ensuring that they are well-planned, executed, and safe.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with local sports organizations, government agencies, and community groups to promote school sports programs.
8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports programs, making recommendations for improvement.
Eligibility
Post-graduate degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
D.El.Ed or B.Ed degree is preferred but not essential.
At least 2 years of experience in sports coaching, management, or administration.
Proficiency in local languages, including Punjabi and Hindi.
