Bcm Arya School | Ludhiana is seeking a dedicated TGT English Teacher to join its vibrant academic community in Ludhiana West. This role focuses on delivering high-quality English language instruction while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation among students. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for literature, grammar, and communication while adapting teaching methods to engage diverse learners.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging English lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, literature, and speaking/writing skills. Prepare interactive activities like debates, poetry recitals, or role-plays to enhance student participation. Review student work for progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain organized lesson plans for each class. Ensure classroom management is smooth, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus-aligned lesson plans that align with Bcm Arya School | Ludhiana’s curriculum while incorporating modern teaching techniques. Collaborate with other teachers to share resources, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to school-wide initiatives like cultural fests or literary competitions. Monitor student performance through regular assessments, quizzes, and projects to track progress. Assist in organizing extracurricular English activities such as elocution contests or book fairs.
Periodic Responsibilities
Participate in term-end evaluations, assessments, and report card preparation for students. Work with the principal or head of department to address student concerns, academic challenges, or behavioral issues in a professional manner. Contribute to school events like parent-teacher meetings or workshops focused on English language development.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in English or a related field. Minimum 4 years of teaching experience, preferably in English as a subject in schools. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position. Strong command over English language, grammar, and literature is essential. Knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum standards is beneficial.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a full-time salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with other benefits as per school policy.
